Overall Rationale: My poll is based on past performance and tries to avoid projecting how good a team will be in favor of rewarding them for what they have done on the field. There is no such thing as a "good" or "quality" loss, even in a close game. I tend to de-emphasize MoV in favor of quality of wins across a team's entire resume. In general, I do not reward a team for the conference they play in, so I tend to rank more small schools than the standard polls. This means that early in the season, there can be some drastic swings in teams' rankings, but things tend to even out at the season goes on
