Overall Rationale: A blend of Week 1 performance and preseason expectations (aka some poll inertia) as to not have a super volatile poll early on...once we get about 4-5 games in this will look at lot more like a resume poll. Very arbitrary early on I'll admit but fun still.

1 Alabama Crimson Tide Demolished Miami...didn't think I was gonna keep them #1 with the UGA-Clemson game this week but Bama did more than enough to keep it.Last Week: 1
2 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia actually won the big game...congrats to them...was very sloppy but still a Top Tier win.Last Week: 5
3 Ohio State Buckeyes Solid 2 score win over what I think is a good Minnesota team.Last Week: 3
4 Texas A&M Aggies Didn't struggle like Oklahoma or ISU this week so they get the nod over them.Last Week: 7
5 Oklahoma Sooners Giving up 35 to Tulane isn't ideal.Last Week: 4
6 Iowa State Cyclones Beating UNI by only 6 *also* isn't ideal.Last Week: 6
7 Penn State Nittany Lions Sloppy but got a HUGE road win over Wisconsin to start the season moving them up big time in the rankings this week.Last Week: 14
8 Cincinnati Bearcats Cincinnati looked very strong W1 even if it was vs M(OH)...not a whole lot of T25 teams can say that about their W1 performances.Last Week: 15
9 Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa demolished an Indiana team I thought was overrated coming into the season *as I didn't rank them* but still very impressive win...enough to jump into the Top 10.Last week: 17
10 Clemson Tigers *Two* Rushing Yards....they are lucky I still have them in the Top 10 after that type of offensive performance.Last Week: 2
11 Florida Gators Did what they needed to vs. FAU.Last Week: 12
12 Notre Dame Fighting Irish ND really blew that lead and almost lost didn't they lord have mercy that was not impressive.Last Week: 11
13 Texas Longhorns Very solid win over ULL to start the season. Is Texas B***? We'll see.Last Week: 19
14 Virginia Tech Hokies LETS GO HOKIESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!Last Week: NR
15 USC Trojans Easy win over SJSU to start the season on the right foot.Last Week: 16
16 UCLA Bruins I don't think LSU is all that good *I mean I didn't rank them* but still a solid win for UCLA to kickoff the season and for that entire division.Last Week: NR
17 Ole Miss Rebels Solid win over Louisville making me feel better about ranking them preseason.Last week: 24
18 Wisconsin Badgers Ugly loss to Penn State at home but was only by 6 and I still think this team can go places this season...even if those places are playing 2nd fiddle again.Last Week: 8
19 Arizona State Sun Devils Didn't have to sweat in their win this week.Last Week: 21
20 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Big win over FCS squad looking strong.Last week: 22
21 Oregon Ducks That Fresno game was....bad...they better not play like that next week or they'll get run out the building.Last Week: 18
22 Utah Utes Took care of Weber State.Last week: 25
23 North Carolina Tar Heels Bad offensive performance at Lane (I would know I was there lol) but the defense really clamped down the 2nd half taking advantage of VT mistakes on offense...I really hope this is a quality win for VT in 2 months time.Last Week: 10
24 Minnesota Golden Gophers Don't see any reason to drop out the Top 25 with how they played vs OSU...not a bad game by any stretch.Last Week: 23 
25 Montana Grizzlies What a win over Washington to start the season for the Grizzlies...I'd rank them before I ranked Miami's pitiful performance vs Alabama to start the year.Last Week: NR...obviously.
