Overall Rationale: Reasons provided for my Top 10. Feel free to ask any questions on the rest of my rankings. Trying hard to weigh expectations preseason and what little we've seen on the field so far. These will vary heavily week to week for the first few weeks of the season.

|
Murdered Miami, no reason to put a team who didn't score a TD on offense ahead of Alabama's championship factory.  |

Georgia Bulldogs
|
Their defense was insane, hard to see anyone scoring too many points against them. Offense was disappointing, but they won't play someone like Clemson every week. |

Ohio State Buckeyes
|
Their skill players are elite. I'm not sold on their QB yet, but everyone else on their offense can carry them.  |

Iowa Hawkeyes
|
Hard to find someone who had a more impressive week 1. They destroyed Indiana. Their performance in El Assico can help keep them top 5.  |

UCLA Bruins
|
They thrashed Hawaii, and then dominated the trenches against LSU. Again, will how little we've seen these top spots will switch around a lot in the first few weeks.  |

They did what they were supposed to against a rival, dominating Miami (oh) from beginning to end.  |

Penn State Nittany Lions
|
Their defense was awesome, and they showed some capability on offense. There was a lot of Wisconsin hype coming into this season and Penn St went to their house and held them to 10 points.  |

North Carolina was dubbed as a Playoff Dark Horse. Well, they couldn't muster any more than 10 points against VT.  |

Texas proved themselves against a highly regarded Louisiana team. Big game coming up against Arkansas.  |
