Chucky1539 Ballot for 2020 Week F

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 12, 2020, 1:05 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Clemson Tigers
Alabama Crimson Tide
Georgia Bulldogs
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
North Carolina Tar Heels They are a good team and earned this ranking, but I question if they can sustain it.
Ohio State Buckeyes
Oklahoma State Cowboys Unfortunate they have a two-week bye, but they will be healthy and prepared for a big matchup at home. They control their own destiny and should only get better as the season continues.
Cincinnati Bearcats They truly deserve a top-10 ranking and have a gem of a coach, I would be surprised if they didn't make it to the conference championship.
Penn State Nittany Lions This is my dark horse for the year, this team has so much potential and I am excited to see how they perform.
Florida Gators Man that defense is bad, they will rebound but Georgia is still the favorite to win the division for now.
Wisconsin Badgers B1G West favorites again will a chance for redemption week 1. Should still be a great team and have a favorable start to conference play.
Oregon Ducks PAC12 favorite that can climb rankings once they begin playing I do not follow them so I don't know what the expectations should be which is why I have them lower at the time.
Texas A&M Aggies Classic TAMU, winning games few people see happening and playing average teams close. Proved they are better than years past and should have a fun run this year.
BYU Cougars A bit of hiccup this weekend but it happens to every team, really interesting matchup this weekend where we might see for the first time how they play against level-competition.
SMU Mustangs Great team just like last year, there will be some obstacles but I see this team climbing the rankings and fighting for a championship spot.
Miami Hurricanes Lets be honest, few - if any - teams will be able to play close to Clemson especially during a primetime matchup, they still have a great path to the championship.
Michigan Wolverines Michigan can always field great teams and has a lot of promise at QB, that being said, Michigan controls their own destiny in the conference and needs to win their big games.
Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Very solid team with close wins, but one could make the argument that many teams would not win in those situations. ULL makes a serious argument for the NY6 Bid.
Iowa State Cyclones The team we have seen in the past three weeks was the team we expected to see in the offseason. If Iowa State can stay healthy and have a strong o-line and defense they should have a shot at the conference championship.
Tennessee Volunteers Still a very good team, but Georgia defense really hurt them and will be interesting to see how they respond.
Kansas State Wildcats Would have them ranked higher than Iowa State, However, the loss of Skylar Thompson will hurt their path in the future. Still could make a run for the conference championship.
Auburn Tigers We have seen more bad performances than good, Auburn benefited from messy calls this week and has not given any evidence to believe they are a top-20 yet.
Virginia Tech Hokies I still think they are a good team, but UNC proved they were the better team and will have a tough path to the championship.
Minnesota Golden Gophers Very exciting where this team can go this year, can easily return to the top 10 if they win the right games and Fleck takes the program to the next step.
USC Trojans Their 6-game schedule has benefitted this team arguably the most in the conference. They have a high ceiling but can they achieve it?
