Overall Rationale: Still early in the season, so the places can be volatile if I think there is little separating teams. I'm also constantly re-evaluating teams, so teams might move up/down despite unremarkable performances. Basically, this is my way of explaining Clemson dropping five spots for their escape against UNC, how K-State and Virginia dropped off the ballot after being #13 and #15 last week, and how ASU is now 16th after being unranked last week. Also, Boise State might be somewhat high, but I can't really think of where else to put them at the moment - and Air Force and FSU are turning into decent (if not superb) wins. *DROPPED TEAMS (last week's rank)*: Kansas State (13), Virginia (15), Mississippi State (24)
