Overall Rationale: This is a computer poll so it's going to be a little wacky until about week 6 (It's starting to take shape!). I'm in the process of adjusting one of the key components of it but I can give a high level view of how the scores are computed.It's a combination of Record, Strength of Schedule, Strength of Victory, and effectiveness. Record is what you'd expect, wins/games. SoS is a basic (2*opponent's record + opponent's opponent's record)/3. SoV is SoS but only of the teams you beat. Effectiveness is what I'm kind of changing now. I'm going to be changing it to try and look at how you performed against your averages and against your opponent's averages and the variance of the values. So looking at things like your passing yards vs opponent X. How does it relate with your average pass yards per game? How does it relate to X's passing yards allowed per game? This won't be meaningful in much capacity until later in the year.
