Overall Rationale: Undefeated and 1-loss teams were subjectively evaluated for viability (with minor bias from the previous CFB poll) and then graded based backwards-looking on the quality of wins. Wins over P5 schools counted for significantly more than other wins. For teams with 1 loss, the grade of the team they lost to was also considered (see Oklahoma State, USC). Also, the top 4 must contain teams from different conferences and will eventually considerer playoff selection committee procedures for deciding playoff teams (#wins> conference championships, no MAC schools, etc. See Penn State over Oklahoma). Changes from last week include re-defining A+ rank and giving more bias to undefeated status. Teams considered but not ranked: C: Mississippi State, NC State, Cal, Oregon, Michigan State, SMU. C-: Memphis, Iowa, D+: UTSA
