USF is the only team in my ranking with 2 quality wins so far. They stomped Boise and went on the road to defeat Florida. They could lock themselves into my #1 spot if they beat Miami this week, but even with a loss they will probably stay high unless Florida or Boise proves to be a less quality win than I have assumed. |

The Unusualness is probably off the charts with this one - but I rank primarily by on-field results, and USF has two of the best wins of the year. |

What else needs to be said about USF. Two ranked wins to start off the season. If this was solely a list rewarding resumes they would be #3 (behind the Buckeyes and Miami). If they beat Miami they are going to be Top 10 without a doubt and perhaps a Top 5 team in the land. |

After killing Boise State, that was almost expected with how unproven Florida was. Future Florida HC beats current Florida HC |

A second ranked game, a second shocking upset for USF. We're now at the point of the season where Bulls fans should start wishing *against* upsets, as it's USF which will now be favored from here on out. |

NEW
Teams that dropped: #11 Arizona State, #15 Florida, #21 SMU, #25 Alabama New to the poll: #21 Utah, #22 Missouri, #23 Ole Miss, #25 USF
Some teams I like that I didn't rank because they either have one loss or haven't been fully convinced: Baylor, SMU, Arizona State, Arizona, Minnesota, Washington, Texas A&M, and Auburn
Next week, I'll redo this all because by then, I'll feel 1/4 of the way through the year, and I'll better understand the team, so I may make more radical changes.
Kind of already did that for some of these, but watched more games this weekend and re-watched some of last week's games, so I understood the teams better. Also need to stop with my biases from what I thought of these teams preseason, like Michigan, I probably shouldn't rank I just like them and thought that losing to Oklahoma isn't as bad as losing to unranked teams.
