Overall Rationale: In my view, not losing is most important, and head-to-head wins next-most important. I functionally treat all of college football like a giant conference, viewing conferences as largely being equivalent to each other. A ballot submitter can make a choice for themselves in which order to put teams with an equal number of losses. If the 12-team CFP Invitational was decided by this ballot, the games would be: 1 Indiana vs. 8 James Madison / 9 BYU; 2 Ohio State vs. 7 Texas A&M / 10 Utah; 3 Texas Tech vs. 6 Ole Miss /1 1 Miami; 4 Oregon vs. 5 Georgia / 12 Tulane.
