Overall Rationale: Using only results from this year, I compute a power rating, offensive rating and defensive rating. I use those ratings to compute a strength of record (SOR)/resume rating. The four ratings are normalized, and the final ranking is a weighted average which increasingly values the SOR component the further into the season. Dropped: Arizona St (21 -> 28), Tennessee (22 -> 31), Georgia Tech (25 -> 32). Next 5: Tulane (0.749), Illinois (0.744), Arizona St (0.744), Missouri (0.742), Houston (0.733).
