Overall Rationale: Using only results from this year, I compute a power rating, offensive rating and defensive rating. I use those ratings to compute a strength of record (SOR)/resume rating. The four ratings are normalized, and the final ranking is a weighted average which increasingly values the SOR component the further into the season. Teams playing teams my model believes an average top 25 team would be expected to beat 99+% of the time (for example Samford, Charlotte and Eastern Illinois) take a hit to their SOS and thus SOR. Dropped: Illinois (21 -> 34), Missouri (23 -> 31). Next 5: Tulane (0.737), USF (0.736), Iowa (0.735), Navy (0.726), SMU (0.724).
