1 Ohio State Buckeyes the reigning champs are undefeated at 9-0 with a very nice win over Texas (7-2, beat Oklahoma) as well as wins over Illinois (6-3, beat USC) and Washington (6-3)
2 Indiana Hoosiers Indiana is 10-0 with a very nice win over Oregon (8-1) as well as wins over Illinois (6-3, beat USC) and Iowa (6-3)
3 Texas A&M Aggies Texas A&M is undefeated at 9-0 with a very nice win over Notre Dame (7-2, beat USC) as well as wins over Missouri (6-3) and LSU (5-4)
4 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama is 8-1 with a slew of good wins including a great win over Georgia (8-1, beat Ole Miss). Also have wins over Vanderbilt (8-2), Missouri (6-3), Tennessee (6-3) and LSU (5-4). Only loss is to Florida State (this loss is really bad but I think Alabama's set of wins is probably the best in the country)
5 Texas Tech Red Raiders Texas Tech is 9-1 with an excellent win over BYU (8-1, beat Utah) as well as wins over Utah (7-2, beat Cincinnati) and Houston (8-2). Lost to Arizona State (not bad, not great)
6 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia is 8-1 with a very nice win over Ole Miss (9-1, beat Oklahoma) as well as a win over Tennessee (6-3). Only loss is to Alabama.
7 Ole Miss Rebels Ole Miss is 9-1 with a nice win over Oklahoma (7-2, beat Michigan). Also has wins over Tulane (7-2) and LSU (5-4). Only loss is to Georgia
8 Texas Longhorns Texas is 7-2 with a nice win over Oklahoma (7-2, beat Michigan). Also has a nice win over Vanderbilt (8-2). Lost to Ohio State (not bad in any way) and Florida (yikes)
9 BYU Cougars BYU is 8-1 with a win over Utah (7-2, beat Cincinnati). Also beat Iowa State (6-4). Lost to Texas Tech.
10 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame is 7-2 with a nice win over USC (7-2, beat Michigan). Also has wins over Boise State (6-3), Navy (7-2) and NC State (5-4 but has wins over Ga Tech and Virginia). Losses to Texas A&M (#3) and Miami (not bad)
11 Louisville Cardinals Louisville is 7-2 with a nice win over Miami (7-2, beat Notre Dame). Also has wins over Pitt (7-2) and James Madison (8-1). Losses to Cal (not great bob) and Virginia (#15)
12 Oregon Ducks Oregon is 8-1 with a win over Iowa (6-3). Also beat Northwestern (5-4). Loss is to Indiana (#2)
13 USC Trojans USC is 7-2 with a nice win over Michigan (7-2). Also beat Nebraska (7-3, beat Cincinnati)
14 Oklahoma Sooners Oklahoma is 7-2 with a nice win over Michigan (7-2). Also beat Tennessee (6-3)
15 Utah Utes Utah is 7-2 with a win over Cincinnati (7-2). Also beat Arizona State (6-3, beat Texas Tech). Only losses are to Texas Tech and BYU so those aren't bad.
16 Virginia Cavaliers Virginia is 8-2 with a really nice win over Louisville (7-2, beat Miami). Also beat Cal (6-4). Losses to NC State and Wake Forest are not great.
17 Michigan Wolverines Michigan is 7-2. Beat Nebraska (7-3) and Washington (6-3). Losses to Oklahoma (#14) and USC (#13)
18 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Georgia tech is 8-1 with a win over Wake Forest (6-3, beat Virginia). Lost to NC State
19 Miami Hurricanes Miami is 7-2 with a win over Notre Dame (7-2, beat USC). Also beat South Florida (7-2).
20 Vanderbilt Commodores Vanderbilt is 8-2 with a win over Missouri (6-3). Also beat LSU (5-4)
21 Cincinnati Bearcats Cincinnati is 7-2 with a win over Iowa State (6-4, beat Iowa). Lost to Utah and Nebraska
