Jerrywelfare Ballot for 2025 Week 12

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Nov. 9, 2025, 12:55 p.m.

Overall Rationale: It's about time to start showing separation in 1 and 2 loss teams, and everyone else; as such, I'm not including any 3 loss teams. That'll probably change later as quality wins and losses start to matter more, but I don't know if they do yet, outside of shuffling around the order.

Rank Team Reason
Ohio State Buckeyes There's certainly an argument for #2 in favor of A&M, but with how Indiana performed against Penn State vs how Ohio State did...I'm comfortable leaving the reining national champs at #1.
Texas A&M Aggies They may very well be the best team this year.
Indiana Hoosiers Indiana looked mortal vs a Penn State team with an interim head coach.
Alabama Crimson Tide The SEC has really figured out how to shrug off a very bad week 1 loss.
Oregon Ducks Their two losses are my #1 and #3, and likely a lot of people's #1 and #2. Any lower than 5 doesn't feel right, right now anyway.
Georgia Bulldogs Georgia has looked beatable in nearly every game they've played. That being said, they've managed to win all but one. So credit where credit is due.
Ole Miss Rebels
Texas Tech Red Raiders
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
USC Trojans
BYU Cougars
Utah Utes
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
Texas Longhorns
Oklahoma Sooners
Michigan Wolverines
Vanderbilt Commodores
Louisville Cardinals I struggled a good deal with these ACC teams. I can see an argument for them in any order, but I think they're all in the same ballpark as far as ranking goes.
Miami Hurricanes
Pittsburgh Panthers
Virginia Cavaliers
James Madison Dukes I'm excited for these group of 5 schools. Let's see how this shakes out.
USF Bulls
North Texas Mean Green
Tulane Green Wave
