MyAngelMiraidon Ballot for 2025 Week 12

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Nov. 10, 2025, 7:17 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Ohio State Buckeyes +1. It says something when I feel they haven't shown everything yet and they've won every game fairly convincingly.
Indiana Hoosiers -1. Really? Penn State? In their current form?
Texas A&M Aggies EVEN. If the only critique I have is that the only ranked win here is Notre Dame, that's probably good.
Alabama Crimson Tide EVEN. Kept as best 1-loss team over Texas Tech mainly on their overall resume depth.
Texas Tech Red Raiders +2. Given their margins of victory and Arizona State being a better loss than Florida State, there is an actual case that in terms of 1-loss teams that they are very close to Alabama.
Georgia Bulldogs EVEN. Adds another win against Miss State.
Ole Miss Rebels +1. On "bye" this week (you played a FCS team)
BYU Cougars -4. Even with the loss against Texas Tech, they still have multiple solid wins to fall back on in Utah and Arizona.
Oregon Ducks +3. FINALLY has an actual quality win against Iowa so I can justify placing them here.
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets +1. On bye this week.
Utah Utes +2. On bye; I'm still on the belief this is the strongest 2 loss team.
Miami Hurricanes +2. Stays in front of Notre Dame based on head to head and slightly better overall resume.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish +2. Stays in front of Louisville in spite of only 1 ranked win due to their two very close losses being to better teams and having fewer close games overall. Still very much on the path of "win out and almost certainly make the playoffs".
Louisville Cardinals -4. Somehow they have 3 ranked wins (Pittsburgh is borderline) and their two losses were both OT, making them oddly similar to Notre Dame.
Texas Longhorns +2. On bye. Maybe the Florida loss is like how Florida State beat Alabama.
USC Trojans +8. Bit of an overcorrection due to previous weeks underrating Big 10 2-loss teams. By resume they clear Virginia but Texas and Louisville have 2+ ranked wins whereas they have one, thus being bumped up here.
Oklahoma Sooners +1. On bye; Borderline interchangeable with USC and they are already going up without playing a game.
Virginia Cavaliers -9. Oklahoma has similar quality in wins but overall losses to better teams.
Vanderbilt Commodores -2. This is somewhat harsh considering they did win, but really, OT against Auburn? Actual reason for this drop is that Oklahoma and Virginia's best wins are currently ranked and it's hard to justify Alabama as a quality loss when it was by 16.
Cincinnati Bearcats +1. On bye this week.
James Madison Dukes +1. Won against Marshall as expected.
North Texas Mean Green +1. On bye this week.
Michigan Wolverines +2. On bye this week.
Houston Cougars (+4). Close win against UCF is still a win.
Pittsburgh Panthers (+4). Pretty much made it here on bye by process of elimination of last week's HM list. There is a chance that they stay here even with a close loss to Notre Dame this week mostly because the next in line teams start to include P4 3 loss schools. HM in order: Arizona State, Illinois, Nebraska, Tulane, Iowa, Tennessee, Memphis, USF, SMU, Missouri, Arizona.
