Jerrywelfare Ballot for 2025 Week 10

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 26, 2025, 1:56 p.m.

Overall Rationale: There are 6 undefeated teams left in FBS. Do they have equal footing? Obviously not, but 5 of them take the top slots, and Navy holds #25. I'm a traditionalist, and a undefeated power 4 team going into week 10 gets the top rank.

Rank Team Reason
Indiana Hoosiers They still look better than Ohio State to me.
Ohio State Buckeyes It's a shame the first time they play Indiana will likely be the conference championship.
Texas A&M Aggies With a dominant performance on the road versus LSU, A&M looks elite.
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets They have a realistic chance to go undefeated and beat Georgia before heading to Charlotte. I'm taking them seriously now, while most people are going to wait until UGA.
BYU Cougars If they can clear Texas Tech and Cincinnati, they can punch their own ticket.
Oregon Ducks They lost to my (and nearly everyone's) #1 and #2. That's it. I don't care if they have one more loss than Bama, Oregon's record is stronger.
Alabama Crimson Tide I don't know how good Alabama is. Hell, I don't know how good the SEC is. What I do know is that something has been off. #7, #8, and #9 are in order of their head to heads.
Georgia Bulldogs
Ole Miss Rebels
Vanderbilt Commodores They lost to Bama by 16. Georgia lost to Bama by 3. Ole Miss lost to Georgia by 8. The only one of those games that didn't feel like a rematch would yield a different result was Alabama vs Vanderbilt. So they bring up the rear.
Miami Hurricanes I know Georgia fans enjoy the hell out of watching this team, lol. Will Beck settle down? Probably not. But if Miami can hold the line and get to Charlotte, they're probably in. They'll need some help, as Miami doesn't play GT or Virginia, who are both undefeated in the conference. GT and Virginia also don't play each other. I just wanna say, the ACC is fun as hell this year.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish I want them lower, but their losses are conflicting because of how confusing Miami looks week to week. That's mostly Carson Beck's fault, but he's the guy they picked.
Texas Tech Red Raiders
Tennessee Volunteers
Virginia Cavaliers
Louisville Cardinals
Cincinnati Bearcats
Texas Longhorns
Oklahoma Sooners
Missouri Tigers
USC Trojans
Michigan Wolverines
Houston Cougars
Utah Utes
Navy Midshipmen
