Overall Rationale: Alright, Week 8 is in the books and we saw some crazy upsets from the start on Friday. First off was Nebraska after slipping into my Top 25 last week, made a quick exit as we were lifeless in Minnesota. Luckily it wasn’t the biggest upset that night as Louisville went down to South Florida and knocked out Miami. Then on Saturday we saw LSU go to Nashville in a Top 20 showdown against Vanderbilt and Vandy beat them. Around the same time in Athens, we saw Ole Miss and Georgia duke it out before Georgia bested Ole Miss. Tennessee went to Alabama and we’re seeing now that the Florida State loss in the beginning was just a fluke as Alabama has been steady and in control ever since. Holy War in Utah was as advertised and BYU beat Utah. But the shocker of the day has to be Texas Tech as they went into the Desert against Arizona State and they lost. Considering they been steamrolling so far, it was a shock to see. USC went into Norte Dame and the Irish took easy Pickens against the Trojans. Overall, it was a good weekend of football for the most part and we’ll see how things are gonna shape up as the season gets to the November slate.
