Overall Rationale: The time of the Hoosier is upon us. I'm not inclined to drop Miami very far for the Louisville loss because (a) they've been very impressive against some solid competition up until now and (b) I think Louisville is just good and we need to stop ignoring them at the start of every season. By the way! If I see you putting Louisville comfortably in the top 25 and not even considering James Madison for a ranking, we gotta talk. The SEC is perhaps the most mystifying it's ever been; it would be nice if the good teams could deliver, like, one single convincing win against Florida or Kentucky or Auburn or Arkansas, y'know? Also mystifying: the 6-1 Houston Cougars. It's *mostly* because of a light schedule, sure, but...I mean, they just beat Arizona more convincingly than BYU did the week before, so maybe they're legit? They really don't need a lot to make it to Arlington, so whether or not they're actually good, you're probably gonna be hearing about them for a while yet.
