DarthGlazer Ballot for 2025 Week 8

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 14, 2025, 1:59 a.m.

Rank Team Reason
Ohio State Buckeyes Best Defense - haven't skipped a beat from last year
Ole Miss Rebels Look really strong
Indiana Hoosiers Been completely dominant but have yet to see them against a great defense (OSU in a few weeks)
Texas Tech Red Raiders utterly dominant, but have played weaker competition than the other top 3
Texas A&M Aggies
Miami Hurricanes Not sold on them yet. I need to see them playing real teams and winning handily. Beating a mediocre FSU by 4 and a terrible florida team doesn't count.
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Undefeated and look amazing.
BYU Cougars
Alabama Crimson Tide after first game they're playing to their talent level.
USC Trojans Handily beat a top 25 (imo) team. albeit at home, but they have the riley signature offense but really good linemen
Memphis Tigers undefeated. Can't leave them out in week 8.
USF Bulls Played really good games against P4 and dominated since then.
Oregon Ducks Lost at home, hence the big drop. Really well rounded though. 13 is fringe playoff - I believe they're better than some of the teams above but I do reward winning.
Cincinnati Bearcats Played well above their talent.
Georgia Bulldogs Not sold on them. They beat a tennessee team that I'm not sold on either based on a missed extra point. they don't have a single group of players that stands out to me.
Tulane Green Wave I don't love them but i reward winning.
UNLV Rebels same as tulane
Vanderbilt Commodores loss to bama dropped them hard. Love pavia and their heart, but not sold on them. current record and SOR is the only reason they're above OU
Oklahoma Sooners Texas? really? that defense did nothing. I thought they had the best defense in the country and then they played as if they were hung over.
Illinois Fighting Illini great offense - better than people give them credit I think.
Washington Huskies Let's see them play someone... best win was maryland.
Utah Utes Not many other good teams so they're in.
LSU Tigers The only decent team they played they lost. Nuss looks overrated.
Virginia Cavaliers Beaten some decent teams but not that impressive.
Michigan Wolverines I was going to put nebraska but michigan dominated them just last week. The offensive line looked really bad and they lost their star runningback in the first quarter. If he's back and their line can figure it out they're a playoff caliber team. Their win over nebraska and their losses being to USC (star team currently) and oklahoma (great team) is the only differentiating factor. I couldn't in good concience place Tennessee or missou in seeing that they literally haven't beaten anybody yet and michigan's beaten a decent nebraska team.
