Overall Rationale: This is a massive work in progress. Using an elo system that takes into account home field and margin of victory. I used historical win rates between divisions to set a baseline elo for P4, G5, FCS, D2, and D3. Talent composite was used for early weeks. Due to this, teams with high talent composite that perform well from the start or teams that beat those teams early might be overrated. I want to eventually get into actual analytics using more data points than win/lose, margin, and home field, but I'm still working out the best way to source that data. If anyone is curious about where teams outside of the top 25, including lower division teams are ranked, I have that. Next 10 out: Duke, SMU, Michigan, Minnesota, Kansas State, Louisville, Iowa, Arizona State, Arizona, and Baylor.
