While their win against Texas is starting to lose its value, I don't see any reason to actually move them down. |

Good wins over FSU, USF, and Florida. Even if Florida isn't that good, they've done well to show they belong at the top so far. |

Penn State's loss to UCLA was surprising, but winning in that White Out atmosphere isn't easy, and Oregon looks good. Oregon had a bye this week so there was no reason to move them up or down. Another big test against Indiana coming up this week. |

It feels weird ranking Ole Miss so high, but they're undefeated and have had some decent wins, with their most prominent being over LSU. No game this week, so they've stayed in place. |

OU pitched a shutout against Kent State this week and has wins over Michigan and Auburn. Moved up to 5 after the Penn State loss. |

A good win at home against a surprisingly decent Mississippi State team. With wins over Notre Dame and Auburn, with ND being away, I think they've shown themselves to be a pretty good win this year so far. Moved up after the Penn State Loss |

Indiana had a bye week this week, so no change other than moving up due to the PSU loss. |
8 |

Tech had a good win against Houston, but their signature win is against a pretty good Utah team. Moved from 9 to 8 due to PSU. |

No game this week, moved up from 12 due to losses by PSU, Texas, and ISU. |

Good win against a good Vandy team (weird to say) at home. Moved up from 15 partially due to the win, partially due to the losses ahead of them. Definitely making improvements after their loss in the opener to FSU. |

While they did beat Kentucky convincingly this past weekend, they're mainly moving up from 16 due to four major losses ahead of them. |

No game this past weekend. Moved up due to losses ahead of them. South Carolina is next week, so it will be interesting to see how they prep for that with this bye week. Their offense has been shaky and I don't particularly like having them at number 12, but their defense is good enough to keep them in any game. |

Good win against Wisconsin at home. Mainly moves up from 20 due to losses ahead of them. |

Probably the biggest jump of the week for me, moving up from 24 to 16. This is partially off the backs of wins against FSU and Louisville, two good programs and Louisville being away, but this jump is a combo of big losses ahead of UVA and their own wins. I did unrank Louisville in favor of some other teams this week, but honestly I moved them down from 21 to 26, so they're right on the cusp and I think they will end up being a decent team this year. |

Utah's only loss is to what I think may be a very good Texas Tech team, with big wins over UCLA and WVU, who honestly may not be good but I don't think that changes the fact that this is a decent, potentially good Utah squad - or at least it has been so far. Jumping up to 17 from 23 mainly due to the losses ahead of them since they were on a bye this week. |

FSU still looks like they can pull out a good season, but the back to back losses to UVA and Miami are tough. Miami is obviously a good squad, and UVA might be better than we all originally thought. With a good win over Alabama also thrown into the mix, there is still a lot of hope for this year, especially after last year's debacle, but they will have to work on defensive consistency and that offense needs to return to its high-flying ways after struggling against Miami. Moved down from 14. |

Illinois beat Purdue this past week, but their loss to Indiana and their close win over USC at home leave me with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Going to need to see more consistency from the Illini going forward, but they mainly jumped from 22 last week due to losses ahead of them. |

Moved from 17 to 20. Good team, but I think Alabama showed that Vandy is punching above their weight a bit. Still, a legit top 20 team as of now, and I look forward to seeing what they do to rebound from this loss. LSU is next (after a bye), while LSU's defense is great, their offense needs work. If Vandy can rebound, this would be a great home win for them. |

Big loss to Cincy, but Cincy may also just be better than people gave them credit for. The loss ended up being much closer in the end - 38 to 30 - but Cincy built a big lead early and never lost it, so ISU has some work to do. |

I believe this is a decent Bull's squad. They've won against two teams no one expected them to beat and they did beat their weaker opponents by good margins. They did get their teeth kicked in by Miami, but when you have halfway decent coaching and a huge talent difference, these things happen. They mainly moved up due to other teams losing, but I look forward to seeing them play North Texas this week to see if they can continue to sustain success and potentially be the number 1 non-P4 team. |

They finally have a winning record again, but I can't really blame them for their losses being to two good teams. I don't think they've earned a super high ranking yet, but the Purdue, Arky, and Boise games have been good showings for them, and I do think they have a good chance to end up with 9+ wins this year. |

Nebraska's only loss is to a fairly good Michigan team by 3 points. The MSU game this past weekend was kinda neck & neck for a while, but Nebraska did eventually pull away by 2 scores and keep their lead. They're trending in a good direction, and they did beat Cincy away at the beginning of the season, but I like their schedule and I think they have a fair chance to end up with 9+ wins. |

Cincy's only loss was a beginning of the season loss to Nebraska at the beginning of the year. They had a great win this past weekend against Iowa State, which moved them into the rankings for this week. There will be some interesting tests in the near future, but I look forward to seeing what they might do in the Big 12 this year. |
