jackmc04 Ballot for 2025 Week 7

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 5, 2025, 5:59 p.m.

Overall Rationale: We are going into week 7, and both penn state and texas have 2 losses and zero wins against power conference teams. They should not be touching top 25s this week, but I know the AP will mess this up (edit: wow i am so proud of you guys). LOTS of movement, what a week, let's get into it. // Dropped Out: (8) Penn State, (11) Texas // Considered: Utah, TCU, BYU, Auburn, USC, North Texas, Penn State, Texas

Rank Team Reason
Miami Hurricanes (+1) best resume in the sport, and it's not particularly close. should go 12-0
Ohio State Buckeyes (-1) their best win keeps getting worse. dominant week, though
Oregon Ducks (-) bye
Oklahoma Sooners (-) kent state, nice. need some voodoo magic to get mateer back on the field for next week
Texas A&M Aggies (+1) just always seemed in control
Indiana Hoosiers (-1) bye
Ole Miss Rebels (-) bye
Alabama Crimson Tide (+1) can't move them above any of these undefeated teams #srry
Texas Tech Red Raiders (+4) b12 frontrunners
Georgia Bulldogs (-) it's kentucky
Notre Dame Fighting Irish (+4) higher on them than most, but this is so obviously a damn good team
LSU Tigers (-) bye
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (+3) bye
Missouri Tigers (+4) bye
Arizona State Sun Devils (+4) bye
Memphis Tigers (+5) first, and only, 6-0 team in the sport. another dominant week
Tennessee Volunteers (+5) bye
Illinois Fighting Illini (+6) kinda sketchy?
USF Bulls (+4) usf/unt will be cinema
Vanderbilt Commodores (-3) hung with bama even with a subpar pavia performance
Virginia Cavaliers (NR) huge fan of what the cavs are cooking
Michigan Wolverines (+3) still iffy on them, big week up next
Cincinnati Bearcats (NR) out of no where
Florida State Seminoles (-4) alabama win still holds weight. 2 close losses to ranked teams
Iowa State Cyclones (-11) very sketchy
