Small_Company_5697 Ballot for 2025 Week 5

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 21, 2025, 2:29 p.m.

Overall Rationale: Strength of wins, player performance/explosiveness, reputation/coaching, statistical extremes (incredible offense/defense)

Rank Team Reason
Ohio State Buckeyes Outstanding reputation and have yet to falter, no justifiable reason to move them down with no game this week
Miami Hurricanes Continuing to perform at a high level against decent teams, stronger wins than LSU
LSU Tigers Finally showed what their offense can do, defense continues performing as well
Georgia Bulldogs Elite reputation and strong offensive showing against Tennessee to remain undefeated, close call in overtime but better wins than Penn State, no reason to move down with no game this week
Oregon Ducks Another strong offensive showing this week, no reason to move down
Oklahoma Sooners Continuing to perform even against good teams, John Mateer is pushing this team to greatness
Penn State Nittany Lions No game this week and a lack of any credible opponents causes them to slip slightly
Florida State Seminoles Another strong week, still riding off of that Alabama win
Indiana Hoosiers Outstanding game against Illinois causing them to vault into the top ten, Mendoza played excellently
Texas A&M Aggies No game this week, riding off the Notre Dame win
Texas Longhorns Continuing to bounceback from the Ohio State loss, Arch showed what he can do this week
Texas Tech Red Raiders Strong win against Utah propels them up a few spots, offense stayed productive
Iowa State Cyclones Good performance through four games, Rocco Becht is an excellent player and has pushed them to a 4-0 record, no game this week caused slight slide
Ole Miss Rebels Strong performances continue yet against lackluster teams, next week against LSU is critical for their ranking
Tennessee Volunteers Insignificant game this weekend but they remain slightly ahead of Georgia Tech due to how close to Georgia game was
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Remain undefeated, Clemson win looks worse now but they are continuing to perform well
Vanderbilt Commodores Impressive showcase so far, no reason to put them any lower
Alabama Crimson Tide Still hurting from the week one loss but reputation and recent performances are carrying them higher
Missouri Tigers Currently home to the second "most powerful" player in CFB behind UTSA's Robert Henry, Ahmad Hardy combined with Pribula is a powerful combo
Washington Huskies Jonah Coleman has truly ascended this year, the huskies continue climbing off of great quarterback, receiver, and running back play after a dominant win in the Apple Cup
Michigan Wolverines Underwood's confidence seems to be improving though that one loss continues to drag them down slightly
USC Trojans Powerful offensive remains present
BYU Cougars Strong defense faltered slightly, still a powerful team
Illinois Fighting Illini Bad loss to Indiana but a chance for redemption next week
UNLV Rebels Strong comeback with RB1 Thomas leading the way to continue their undefeated season
