xX_GIGA_MAN_Xx Ballot for 2025 Week 4

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 14, 2025, 12:27 p.m.

Overall Rationale: Another great poll. Big movers this week. Rich Rod 1000000 years

Rank Team Reason
Ohio State Buckeyes A little concerning through 3 quarters, but pulled away in the 4th for another win. Staying at #1 until they lose
Miami Hurricanes Would've been funny if they lost to USF but oh well.
LSU Tigers Good win over a talented Florida team. 5 interceptions is crazy. LSU might be back
Georgia Bulldogs I was watching UT-UGA at the same time that WVU-pitt was going into overtime so I missed like 90% of the last 20 minutes of the game, but how the hell did Tennessee throw away a win when they were inside Georgia's 30 with less then 5 seconds left? how does that happen? Either way, good win. Solidifies their spot in the top 5
Oregon Ducks Eh. Its a win. On to Oregon State. That'll be fun for you
Penn State Nittany Lions Good win. Now a bye week before white out vs Oregon. Time to see how good this team really is
Texas Longhorns I feel like everyone is forgetting a very crucial factor that might be the reason why Arch Manning isn't living up to expectations: Texas hired Neal Brown this offseason.
Texas A&M Aggies I really want to see a top 10(5?) matchup between Texas & A&M at the end of the season, that would be entertaining
Iowa State Cyclones I'm just gonna ignore the ugly final score and just say it was a win for ISU. My favorite for the B12 championship
Texas Tech Red Raiders Good win over a bad Oregon State team. Bad week for the Pac-2
Ole Miss Rebels I trust Kiffin over FSU, so that's why they're above. Win over Arkansas, big game against Tulane next week
Florida State Seminoles Bye week, nothing happening
Tennessee Volunteers Disappointing way for that game to end, but should be happy that you were that competitive with Georgia. Should be fine, most likely will make the CFP if there's no unexpected upsets.
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Big win over Clemson. Strengthens their playoff push for this year, but going to have an uphill battle to overtake Miami (FL) and FSU when they don't play them. I doubt the playoff committee is going to allow 3+ ACC teams into the playoff, so they're gonna have to hope for bad things to happen to Miami (FL) and FSU.
Illinois Fighting Illini Easy schedule so far, now you gotta face off against the Indiana gauntlet.
Alabama Crimson Tide good win over Wisconsin (what the hell is going on with them), now 2 weeks until Georgia.
Louisville Cardinals Last year I was down on Louisville and they were good. Now I'm high on Louisville and nobody wants to rank them? Am I stupid?
Auburn Tigers maybe a little closer then you would've liked, but a win is a win. Now next test against Oklahoma, see if Freeze has actually figured this coaching thing out
Missouri Tigers who the hell gave ULL a vote in the AP poll at the start of the season?
Nebraska Cornhuskers FCS game. nothing special. Good win
Utah Utes Good win over Wyoming. Big game next week against Texas Tech. Potentially GOTY for the B12?
BYU Cougars Bye week, but I put them in over other teams that lost this week (Notre Dame, Clemson, USC).
USF Bulls Unlucky to lose (that bad) against Miami (FL), but still in the drivers seat for the G5 playoff spot. Can't lose any more games the rest of the season though, even with the great start.
Vanderbilt Commodores There's an (unlikely but) possible scenario where Vanderbilt is ranked higher then Alabama for their rematch in 3 weeks. Would be very funny if it happened.
Oklahoma Sooners Ok i'll finally rank them. Oh well. Additionally: I have not ranked either Clemson or Notre Dame. I do believe that both of these teams are good enough to be ranked, and they will get back into my top 25 eventually, but I can't justify having an 0-2 and 1-2 team ranked in week 3 over other teams that have earned it. Give it 2-3 weeks and it'll all balance itself out though.
