Doogitywoogity Ballot for 2025 Week 4

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 14, 2025, 9:57 a.m.

Overall Rationale: Through exploring the inner workings of my mind through lucid dreaming and meditation, I have devised the perfect ratings for the week. That’s right, perfect. I know, it is remarkable, I am remarkable and incredibly, incredibly humble.

Rank Team Reason
Miami Hurricanes Wins over Notre Dame and USF, particularly convincing in the USF win. It’s hard to make a case that they shouldn’t have this spot. Ohio State’s win over texas looks less impressive, and LSU’s over Clemson similarly is less impressive.
Ohio State Buckeyes Surprising how close the game was for so long, particularly given how much Ohio struggled. I think this is more a bad showing of Ohio State’s offense than anything. I am a bit unclear how I feel about this team at this stage because of questions in the ability of the offense to perform at the level needed. Washington and Minnesota should be good barometers in the upcoming games that Ohio State should win.
LSU Tigers Honestly the Florida game is shocking in that UF threw five interceptions but still held LSU to only 20 points. The Clemson win looks less impressive.
Georgia Bulldogs Huge win over Tennessee where they proved they can score big vs power conference opponents. Alabama and Auburn games coming up will be good tests to see how this team will fair all season.
Oregon Ducks It’s Northwestern but I’ve grown more confident in this squad than Penn State.
Penn State Nittany Lions Slow starts seem to be the MO of this squad. I don’t think Villanova is a bad team either, they’re a solid FCS team. Slow starts don’t mean that I think teams are bad, I just worry how they’ll do against top teams. We’ll get good clarification soon against Oregon.
Iowa State Cyclones A close game but this Iowa State squad is in a league of their own in the Big XII. In fairness the Utah schools are closing in, and I’m toying with ranking the Arizona schools or Houston too so it may get busy up top in the Big XII.
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Huge win. Haynes King. That is all.
Florida State Seminoles A bye week, and not a ton of additional info, besides Alabama demolishing a shitty Wisconsin. Unless they drop a game we won’t get a feel for this squad until they play Miami in a few weeks.
Oklahoma Sooners Continues looking good. Auburn should be an interesting matchup. Michigan didnt crumble so their win is still looking solid.
Illinois Fighting Illini The Duke win is looking less impressive, but I’m buying into the hype for now. Indiana and USC the coming weeks will be good barometers.
Texas A&M Aggies Huge win for the program. Not convinced Notre Dame is cooked for the season, close losses to Miami and A&M may be decent down the stretch and the ND looks good. A&M should be quite happy with one of their biggest wins in recent memory.
USC Trojans It’s Purdue, but a power win is a power win. Mostly up here off vibes which is extremely dangerous with USC.
Missouri Tigers Largely being carried off the Kansas win. And in fairness my opinion of Kansas is largely built off of Fresno State. It’s turtles all the way down.
Vanderbilt Commodores They proved it vs South Carolina. Cue the pimp music!
Utah Utes Man I like this year’s Wyoming. That’s a beat down of what I expect to be a solid G6 school.
California Golden Bears Big win over Minnesota, a squad I had been high on.
Louisville Cardinals At this point teams are ranked by vibes. I am not particularly confident in any of them.
Texas Tech Red Raiders Next couple of games vs Utah and Houston should be very interesting matchups.
Indiana Hoosiers They just keep winning. Let’s see how they do vs Illinois, Iowa, Oregon…
BYU Cougars I’m less high on this team than other Big XII teams and we really won’t know how they are for a few weeks yet with that soft schedule.
Ole Miss Rebels They keep pulling wins out of their asses vs bad SEC teams. Is Ole Mid playing down to their opponents or is this just the level they’re at this year?
TCU Horned Frogs I am having a very hard time judging this team so I will keep them down here.
Auburn Tigers Probably going to be an on and off scary team this year that pulls upsets. Or they’re way better than I think and run the table, who knows it’s odd year Auburn.
USF Bulls I don’t want to drop them totally out yet. UNT in October will be their first real test of how they’ll perform in the AAC.
