Overall Rationale: I don’t use any advanced formulas or power rankings to build this. It’s a mix of a few factors that I value most: Best Wins: Who’s beaten legit opponents? Quality wins matter a lot to me. Roster Strength: I factor in talent — who I think would win on a neutral field based on how they’re actually playing and who they have. Strength of Schedule / Conference: I try to account for how tough teams’ schedules have been and how strong their conference looks as a whole. I’m not trying to predict who will make the Playoff — this is more of a snapshot of who’s looked the best right now, considering results and context. Not strictly resume-based, not purely eye test — kind of a blend of both. For Notre Dame: it was hard to rank a team that doesn't have a win yet. They do have a quality loss, but I feel like that's a stat you look at later in the season or when you're making the final playoff rankings. So I just stuck them at 25, for now. Not a "who I think will make the playoff" poll - more of a "where things currently stand" poll.
