T-Thugs Ballot for 2025 Week 3

Overall Rationale: Each week, I rerank all teams based on their resumes so far this year. I don't hold over my rankings from last week so teams won't necessarily stay put if they win. Early in the season, I generally put extra weight on wins over p5 opponents or previous year playoff teams.

1 USF Bulls USF is the only team in my ranking with 2 quality wins so far. They stomped Boise and went on the road to defeat Florida. They could lock themselves into my #1 spot if they beat Miami this week, but even with a loss they will probably stay high unless Florida or Boise proves to be a less quality win than I have assumed.
2 Auburn Tigers Auburn is 2-0 with a nice win over Baylor. They get a big jump in my poll for Baylor beating SMU because now I have Baylor as a ranked team and Auburn is the only team with a win over a ranked team in my poll.
3 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State is 2-0 with a high quality win over Texas.
4 Miami Hurricanes Miami is 2-0 with a high quality win over Notre Dame. They could jump to #1 with a win over USF.
5 Florida State Seminoles Florida State is 2-0 with a high quality win over Alabama.
6 LSU Tigers LSU is 2-0 with a quality win over Clemson. I dropped them a couple spots though because Clemson did not look like a great team against Troy and I'm not sure this is as good of a win as I thought last week. It will probably stay a quality win, but who knows.
7 Mississippi State Bulldogs Mississippi State shoots up into my rankings after a very nice win over Arizona State, who made the playoffs last year.
8 Oklahoma Sooners Oklahoma is 2-0 with a nice win over Michigan
9 Iowa State Cyclones Iowa State is 3-0 with a quality win over Iowa. They also have another p5 win over Kansas state, though it does not appear to be a good win anymore after Kansas State lost to Army. It's still better than any FCS win.
10 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Georgia Tech is 2-0 with a win over Colorado.
11 Missouri Tigers Missouri is 2-0 with a nice win over Kansas
12 Ole Miss Rebels Ole miss is 2-0 with a nice win over Kentucky.
13 Oregon Ducks Oregon is 2-0 with a dominant win over Oklahoma st. It’s hard to know how to rate that. It was a serious butt kicking but Oklahoma state was awful last year. Oregon would shoot high up in my rankings if they beat Penn st.
14 Illinois Fighting Illini Illinois is 2-0 with a good win over Duke.
15 Nebraska Cornhuskers Nebraska is 2-0 with a win over Cincinnati.
16 Tulane Green Wave Tulane is 2-0 with a win over Northwestern.
17 NC State Wolfpack Nc state is 2-0 with a win over Virginia
18 Michigan State Spartans Michigan state is 2-0 with a win over Boston College.
19 Tennessee Volunteers Tennessee is 2-0 with a win over Syracuse
20 Ohio Bobcats Ohio st 2-0 with a win over West Virginia
21 TCU Horned Frogs TCU is 2-0 with a win over north carolina
22 Vanderbilt Commodores Vanderbilt is 2-0 with a win over virginia tech
23 South Carolina Gamecocks South Carolina is 2-0 with a win over Virginia tech.
24 Arizona Wildcats Arizona is 2-0 with a win over Hawaii (2-1, defeated Stanford)
25 Baylor Bears Baylor is 1-1 with a loss to Auburn but a good win over SMU. My only ranked 1 loss team.
