3 Oregon Ducks (+3) [69-3] Dominated a P4 opponent. Could be anywhere 2-5.
4 Miami Hurricanes (+1) [45-3] Taking care of business. Could be anywhere 2-5.
5 Georgia Bulldogs (-1) [28-6] Should've won more convincing.
6 LSU Tigers (-2) [23-7] Should've won more convincing. Clemson win also seems less impressive now.
7 Florida State Seminoles (+5) [77-3] Continue to impress. Seeming like 24 was the fluke not 23. Castellanos early heisman contender.
8 Oklahoma Sooners (+13) [24-13] Convincing win against a top talent comp roster. Wasn't as close as the score indicated. Mateer early heisman contender.
9 Iowa State Cyclones (+2) [16-13] Rivalry win. 3-0 P4 team.
10 Illinois Fighting Illini (NR) [45-19] I did not have any preseason hype or expectations for them, but continue to look very strong.
11 Tennessee Volunteers (+11) [72-17] P4 Win W1 + Dominating performance this week.
12 Utah Utes (+5) [63-9] P4 Win W1 + Dominating performance this week.
13 USF Bulls (NR) [18-16]. 2 Ranked wins, could honestly argue they should be higher.
14 Texas Tech Red Raiders (+6) [62-14]. 2 games over 60 points scored and only 1/2 points allowed. Haven't played a P4 team yet though.
15 Indiana Hoosiers (+8) [56-9]. Dominating win, no strong opponents yet.
16 Ole Miss Rebels (-) [30-23]. SEC win but close, against a supposedly bottom team.
17 BYU Cougars (+8) [27-3]. Dominating win W1, P4 win W2. Appear to have found their guy to replace BYJew.
18 South Carolina Gamecocks (-3) [38-10]. Passed by teams I found more impressive.
19 USC Trojans (NR) [59-20]. Two strong wins, people seem to have forgotten about them.
20 Missouri Tigers (NR) [42-31] P4 Rivalry Ranked Win. (I had KU ranked).
21 Texas Longhorns (-14) [38-7]. Hard to put a 1-1 team above teams with 2 or 3 wins. Roster still looks strong, Arch just looks alright.
22 Alabama Crimson Tide (-3) [73-0]. What they should do. Still has one of the best roster comps.
23 Clemson Tigers (-15) [27-16]. Stuggled at home against a weak opponent. Fraud alert? Is LSU not as good as we thought either?
24 Texas A&M Aggies (-6). Just looking alright relative to the roster strength difference in their 2 games.
25 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (-16) [BYE]. 0-1, only on this board solely for roster comp and being in the natty last year. An 0-1 team probably shouldnt't be ranked when there is 2-0 teams out there. FELL OUT: Arizona State, Kansas, Florida, Michigan
