Overall Rationale: Early season polls are optional, but I do like to use them just for visibility. Since my poll is heavily results-based, it does create differing results early on. I do have 1 hard rule for early on though: 1. Teams must have an FBS win to be ranked. Consequently, otherwise would-be ranked teams will not be present on this poll. Beyond that, this week is largely rewarded by number of wins and average MoV.
