Overall Rationale: Vibes only this year. I respect Ohio State–Texas and Notre Dame–Miami as genuine top-ten games, but LSU-Clemson is two teams that haven't finished top ten in the AP since 2020. What are we doing here? Oregon beating the brakes off Montana State is low-key one of the more impressive wins of Week 1. I honestly have no idea what to make of FSU and TCU's wins, but for now I'm cautiously optimistic that we're in for a fun season from both. Alex Golesh is gonna lead South Florida to the promised land this year. I also kinda...think Brent Brennan might do the same for Arizona? I refuse to cast a vote for either Mizzou or Indiana until one of them beats a real football team. I don't really know what I'm doing, but in my defense neither does anybody else. Football is BACK and I have never felt more alive.
