1 Oregon Ducks Oregon is my number 1 team. They finished the season as undefeated B1G champs with great wins over Ohio State, Penn state, and Boise State.
2 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia finished with quite the impressive resume and I have them as my number 2 team. They are SEC champs with 2 wins over Texas, as well as a 31-0 domination of ACC champion Clemson. They also have wins over Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia Tech.
3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame is my 3rd team. Finished the season at 11-1. Best win is probably over Army (11-1, American Conference Champions). Also have wins over Texas A&M, Louisville, and Georgia Tech.
4 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State finished the season on a bit of a sour note with their loss to Michigan, but their resume is still pretty good. 10-2 with 2 very nice wins over Indiana (11-1) and Penn State (11-2)
5 Boise State Broncos Boise State is the Mountain West champion, finishing the season at 12-1 with their only loss being a very close loss to Oregon.
6 Arizona State Sun Devils Arizona State makes a big jump in my poll after winning the Big12 championship. They finished the season at 11-2. They have nice wins over BYU (10-2), Iowa State (10-3) and Kansas State (8-4)
7 Tennessee Volunteers Tennessee finished the season at 10-2. They have a nice win over Alabama (9-3) and also defeated Florida (7-5).
8 Indiana Hoosiers Indiana finished the season 11-1 with only a loss to Ohio State. Kinda lacking in the big win department. Best win is probably Michigan (7-5)
9 Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State finished the season at 11-2 with close losses to Ohio State and Oregon. They have wins over Illinois (9-3) and Minnesota (7-5).
10 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama finished the season at 9-3 and I may be over-ranking them considering they have 3 losses and two were to bad teams. I have them here though thanks to the strength of their wins. They have a very nice win over Georgia (11-2, SEC champs). They also have a nice win over South Carolina (9-3).
11 Texas Longhorns Texas finished the season at 11-2 with 2 losses to Georgia. Best wins are Texas A&M (8-4) and Michigan (7-5).
12 Ole Miss Rebels Ole Miss finished the season at 9-3. Nice wins over Georgia and South Carolina.
13 South Carolina Gamecocks South Carolina finished the season at 9-3. Nice wins over Clemson (10-3, ACC champions), Texas a&M (8-4) and Missouri (9-3)
14 Clemson Tigers Clemson finished the season 9-3 and won the ACC championship. Weird year for Clemson. Best win was over SMU (11-2) in ACC title game. Other than that, best win might be Pitt? (7-5). I've actually been down on Clemson all year as I dont think they had a great year or are a great team. I'm putting them pretty high I think because they won the conference and are headed to the playoff.
15 BYU Cougars BYU finished the season at 10-2. Nice wins over SMU (11-2) and Kansas State (8-4)
16 SMU Mustangs SMU finished the season at 11-2. Nice wins over Louisville (8-4) and Duke (9-3)
17 Iowa State Cyclones Iowa State finished the season at 10-3. Best wins are probably Iowa (8-4) and Kansas State (8-4)
18 Miami Hurricanes Miami finished the season at 10-2. Best wins are over Duke (9-3), Louisville (8-4) and Florida (7-5)
19 Syracuse Orange Syracuse finished the season 9-3 with a very nice win over Miami (10-2). Also have wins over UNLV (10-3) and Georgia Tech (7-5)
20 Army West Point Army won the American Conference and has a record of 11-1. (still to play Navy).
21 Louisville Cardinals Louisville finished 8-4 with wins over Clemson (9-3, ACC champs) and Georgia Tech (7-5)
22 Texas A&M Aggies Texas A&M is 8-4. Best wins are Missouri (9-3) and LSU (8-4)
23 Colorado Buffaloes Colorado is 9-3. Best wins are Texas Tech (8-4) and Baylor (8-4)
24 Illinois Fighting Illini Illinois finished the season 9-3. Best win is over Michigan (7-5)
25 Duke Blue Devils Duke is 9-3. Best wins are Virginia Tech (6-6) and NC State (6-6)
