Overall Rationale: Try to match efficiency metrics with quality of wins and losses. Basically an objective ranking, with an eye test tweak. Slightly different methodology this week as I tried to assemble my playoff while also kind of arbitraily assigning about half weight of a usual game to conference championship games. Posting late because our open window started after my poll was complete, but I'm surprised at the relative low rankings of Notre Dame and Ohio State in the final poll. They were punished for not playing more than teams who lost were punished for losing, which I'm on the fence about - Specifically, Penn State above Ohio State, without head to head and weaker strength of schedule doesn't make a lot of sense. Tried not to move too much near the bottom. Dropped out: UNLV (19). New this week: Louisville (25). Next few out, roughly in order: Texas A&M, Florida, LSU, UNLV, Baylor, Kansas State, Texas Tech
