Overall Rationale: Wins and losses matter most. If you beat someone and have the same record, you must go ahead of that team. Absolute chaos! The SEC went down in flames and Oregon and Ohio State seemed to have somewhat separated themselves from the pack. Army, Ole Miss, Alabama, BYU, Colorado, Texas A&M, Washington State and Indiana all plummeted in the rankings, making room for big movers like Notre Dame, SMU, Clemson, and Iowa State. The only team of those to fully drop out was poor Wazzu, after another tough showing. Replacing them is Kansas State, who dominated Cincinnati 41-15. They, along with SEVEN other teams, come into the final week of the regular season with a chance to make the Big 12 championship game. Another conference championship play-in is the highly anticipated Texas vs Texas A&M game. TAMU got bitten by Auburn this week, so a little bit of the luster is off, but it's not nearly enough to make that game anything other than the most watched of the weekend. I'm of the opinion that the SEC only has 3 worthy teams, and even they could be in danger this week. It'll be interesting to see if the committee tries to worm Bama or another 3 loss SEC team into the playoff, while excluding an 11-1 or 12-1 team. This is a bit shorter for me but it's very late, I'm tired, and I have many thing to do tomorrow. As always, feel free to let me know how stupid I am!
