1 Oregon Ducks LW: 1. Beat #2. 11-0. The Ducks are locked into the top 5 for the CFP. Either the #1 seed or the number 5.
2 Ohio State Buckeyes LW: 2 Can't pass Oregon until they beat them. Locked into top 5 as well. They're cruising now. They're pretty good at football. Probably the best team in the country.
3 Georgia Bulldogs LW: 4 I'm really high on UGA. They're 3-2 against ranked teams and destroyed Texas on the road- still the best win of the year for my money. 2 losses are on the road against top 20 teams. They've played a really tough schedule and deserve to be ranked highly for still being so successful. Also hold the head to head over Texas
4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish LW: 8 2 ranked wins imo with wins over Louisville and Navy as well. Worst loss out of ranked teams, sure, but they continue to destroy everyone they play. It's a tough decision but they could fall in the coming weeks. This might be where they plateau this season
5 Penn State Nittany Lions LW: 6. Illinois is no longer ranked for me but their best win and worst loss are still better than Texas'. They win close but that's still winning.
6 Texas Longhorns LW: 7 1 loss although they got crushed in it. They haven't really beaten anyone either. They're good, but their real test will be vs A&M.
7 SMU Mustangs LW: 12 They keep winning, they probably keep rising. Only loss is to a ranked team by 1 score. No ranked wins but they have beaten multiple good teams like Pitt and Louisville.
8 Miami Hurricanes LW: 15 They still have 1 loss, and it turns out GA TECH is pretty solid. Offence is explosive and really good. Behind SMU because they play too many teams close. Win over Florida keeps looking better
9 Tennessee Volunteers LW: 11 2 losses. Arkansas is meh and win over Bama looks worse. Other loss to UGA is fine. 2 loss SEC team who has destroyed the bad teams they've played.
10 Indiana Hoosiers LW: 3 Sure, they play bad teams, but they DESTROY those bad teams. Loss to tOSU isn't good, but it could have been worse I guess. Other teams choking have saved their season, and they should be a lock for the playoffs now. They bet a couple of alright teams
11 Boise State Broncos LW: 13 They stay behind Indiana because they beat the bad teams THEY play by less. Ashton Jeanty for Heisman.
12 Arizona State Sun Devils LW: 17 Rocketing up my rankings after back to back ranked wins vs good teams. They're now in the driver's seat in the B12.
13 BYU Cougars LW: 10 Somehow still alive despite back to back losses. Still 2 ranked wins, including a top 10 one on the road. One of 3 teams with a top 10 road win. BYU can still make it.
14 Alabama Crimson Tide LW: 5 Had them overranked last week. Yeesh- that was a pathetic showing. Best 3 loss team still thanks to win over #3 UGA and better losses than Ole Miss.
15 Ole Miss Rebels LW: 9 LOL! Lost to Florida. RIP playoff chances. Great win over UGA and crushed South Carolina but terrible loss to Kentucky and not great to Florida.
16 South Carolina Gamecocks LW: 19 Should only have 2 losses (refball) and possibly top 10. Behind the other 2 SEC teams due to H2H. Win over A&M is good. Only bad lo was being crushed by Ole Piss
17 Iowa State Cyclones LW: 20 2 losses but less quality wins than the teams above them. In the driver's seat for the BIG 12 still. Beat decent Iowa and Baylor. Just kinda meh overall. Close losses keep them above Clemson
18 Clemson Tigers LW: 21 Overrated as hell. They've still beaten NOBODY. 2 teams with a pulse have destroyed them. Only alright win vs Pitt.
19 Texas A&M Aggies LW: 14 Game vs Texas is what it all comes down to. 2 ranked losses, but a loss to Auburn is really bad. I guess they still control their destiny.
20 Kansas State Wildcats LW: 22 Defeated Tulane on the road, so that keeps them ahead of them. 2 ranked losses, other one on the road by 1 score. 2 good wins (Tulane and Colorado).
21 Tulane Green Wave LW: 23 Still possibly the best G5 team in the country at the moment. Crush everyone they play. Unfortunately, their loss to KSU caps them imo.
22 UNLV Rebels LW: 24 We get the MWC Championship we deserve (assuming UNLV wins their last game). 1 score losses to ranked teams and beat a good Kansas squad.
23 Army West Point LW: 18 That game went about as I expected. Still haven't played anyone but only have 1 loss.
24 Syracuse Orange LW: UR Win @ UNLV jumps them ahead of Illinois. 8-3 is very solid. Kyle McCord is good.
25 Montana State Bobcats LW: UR Undefeated FCS team that have beaten everyone in their way- including good UC Davis squad. Honestly just wanted to put them in
