Overall Rationale: computer poll to minimize the error between predicted margin and actual margin on a season-basis. Basically, if an alien had no knowledge about college football before this season, what is the most reasonable set of ratings given game scores so far. Does not take wins and losses into account, looks instead at game margin adjusted for homefield advantage (~1.5-3pts) Note: I'm not happy with the output this week. I don't make a conference adjustment, and I fear given the size of conferences, that's impacting the results. Tweaks are needed in the offseason.
