2 Ohio State Buckeyes That was a big and necessary win for Ohio State and Ryan Day, even if it was against a team/coach with bigger issues in big games.
3 Georgia Bulldogs It’s been a while since a QB has completely derailed his draft prospects, and one as weak as this upcoming class, as Carson Beck. He’s continuing to be a problem for Georgia.
4 BYU Cougars BYU stands alone atop the Big 12 and their win over SMU is looking better.
5 Tennessee Volunteers Still have some concerns about Tennessee’s offense but their defense is legit.
6 Texas Longhorns Much needed bye week for Texas

8 Miami Hurricanes Finally, Miami beat a decent team without needing ACC ref bullshit to help them out. 2nd half Canes are a title threat
9 Penn State Nittany Lions If not now, when for Franklin at Penn State? That record against top 10 teams, while usually having a top 10 team himself in those games, is abysmal.

21 Washington State Cougars Bye week for Wazzu, but seeing Texas Tech win was huge for their resume.
22 Texas Tech Red Raiders Biggest win of the McGuire era for Tech
23 Kansas State Wildcats That’s gross loss from KSU. They’re better than that.
24 Tulane Green Wave Another easy AAC win. Might be the most talented G5 team top to bottom and still have slim CFP hopes.
