Overall Rationale: Same as always, no modifications, even if my poll needs a lot of fixing for next season. Honestly, I feel like last season's algorithm probably worked a little better.

2 Pittsburgh Panthers Well, I am finally convinced they are legit in a beat down of what I consider a solid Syracuse team. More chances to prove it against #19 SMU.
3 Indiana Hoosiers Another solid victory with gameday against Washington. Up next a disappointing MSU.
4 Army West Point Rest. Up next a disappointing Air Force.
5 Penn State Nittany Lions A solid win over Wisconsin. Up next #10 Ohio State to see what the Big Ten is really made of.
6 Oregon Ducks Dominant win over #12 Illinois keeps them shooting up, the hard way like Notre Dame. Up next a disappointing Michigan squad.
7 Boise State Broncos Close win against a great UNLV team. Up next a SDSU team that game Wazzu troubles.
8 Iowa State Cyclones Rested. Up next a scary Texas Tech that shot itself in the foot a few times.
9 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Again, they lost to Tulane?! But they are unaffected by tier and a decent win against Coastal allows them to retain. Up next Texas State.
10 Ohio State Buckeyes Disturbingly poor win against Nebraska, bumps them down. Up next #5 Penn State.
11 Miami Hurricanes No close win against a squad as garbage as FSU. Up next #20 Duke. Hate week time. 45-21.
12 Illinois Fighting Illini Unfortunate for Illini, but they have Quality Losses to be the highest ranked 2-loss. Up next a feisty Minnesota squad.
13 Washington State Cougars Less than convincing win over SDSU. Up next Utah State.
14 Georgia Bulldogs On Rest. Up next Florida.
15 Texas Longhorns Scrapes by a very solid Vandy team. Hardly an impressive performance. Now Texas may rest.
16 Kansas State Wildcats Absolutely great classic rivalry game to keep climbing back in. Up next Houston.
17 Clemson Tigers Rested. Up next Louisville.
18 Tennessee Volunteers Rested. Up next Kentucky.
19 SMU Mustangs A.... win of some sort against my Blue Devils. Up next another serious challenge against #2 Pitt.
20 Duke Blue Devils A... loss of some sort against SMU. Absolutely horrendous night for our special teams, while the defense shut down SMU, and our offense, while still garbage, was less garbage than normal. Disappointing result, but a close loss actually keeps them ranked. Up next, a winnable game, if the ACC refs decide not to absolutely favor #11 Miami and hate us like the infamous 2015 game. I hate them all.
21 Tulane Green Wave Back in the ranking after KSU keeps establishing itself, unlimited by the inexplicable Oklahoma loss. Up next a now floundering Charlotte team.
22 Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks If it were up to me, they would be dropped to hell for losing to South Alabama. Unfortunately, poll inertia keeps them in, but just for now. Up next Marshall.
23 Colorado Buffaloes Unfortunately Colorado is legit. Now they take a break and probably rise as the others fall like dominoes.
24 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Defeats Navy to regain a ranking, the rough way around. This only occurs if a low in tier team defeats enough above to climb out through sheer limitation of others. It is hard for me to fathom how much they were punished for NIU, and rewarded for nothing else. Up next FSU.
25 Navy Midshipmen Loses to Notre Dame to absolutely plummet. My model really isn't forgiving that NIU loss is it? As a consequence, Texas A&M is not ranked, even when it has every right to be Up next for Navy, Rice.
