Overall Rationale: My computer ballot starts the year as a strict power ranking and over the course of the year resume gets weighted heavier. This is the first ballot of the year where resume begins to outweigh the power rankings portion of the ballot. The purpose of the ballot in the past is to try and predict how the committee may make their rankings. Overall this week I don't see any super glaring selections as if I were to compare my ballot to the AP poll, of teams that I have ranked the school that is most far off is LSU which I have 7 points off from the AP Poll. The bottom of my ballot has probably been the least consistent this year and that continues as 22-25 are way different than what the AP Poll. Illinois is ranked 33rd on my computer ranking, Army is 27, Michigan is 28, and Navy is 45.
