Overall Rationale: Same old rank swap and SCF. Just came up with an even better method that doesn't have to rely on stupid Vegas. Unfortunately I will be unable to implement it until next year as I need to work the mechanics out.

2 Pittsburgh Panthers After reviewing Pitt's wins, I am more and more concerned they are fraudulent. Oh well, rest here before another Top 25 vs #23 Syracuse.
3 Iowa State Cyclones Solid Riot Bowl performance showing a remarkably ambitious team. Up next a UCF team that could make a trap game... or just crash the Gus Bus again.
4 Indiana Hoosiers Model is convinced they are better than Texas, and I don't quite disagree for some reason. Up next #15 Nebraska for an epic match-up.
5 Texas Longhorns Takes care of business in the RRS. Up next an overrated Georgia that lost to a fraudulent Alabama. Seriously why are they ranked so high in mainline polls? I've seen nothing convincing yet, and though I think they should probably be ranked, it shouldn't be up near the top.
6 Army West Point Dominating win as would be hoped for against a floundering UAB squad. Up next ECU.
7 Penn State Nittany Lions Embarrassing showing against USC. Up next rest before facing Wisconsin.
8 Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks Highest ranked single lost is definitively worse than Penn State (and Army) but better than Navy. Time to relax in a bye week.
9 Navy Midshipmen A nice break. Up next, the first of two big tests, beginning with a peaking Charlotte squad searching to dominate the AAC.
10 Oregon Ducks HOW ARE THEY SO LOW! Well because that is the price of ranking Boise State so high. I think they are pretty solid by now! Up next... Purdue.
11 Illinois Fighting Illini Honestly, I'm surprised my model didn't punish Illinois more for... whatever that was against Purdue. Win is a win, and now they face a definitely overrated Michigan. Seriously, how are they still ranked in the AP?
12 Ohio State Buckeyes So they lose to Oregon and they are the worst team in the country /s. Solid showing. Up next a bit of rest before facing, as of now, #15 Nebraska.
13 Boise State Broncos Jeanty continues to thrive even on bad days with a solid win in the end over Hawaii. Up next a Top 25 match-up against a rightfully mad UNLV.
14 Duke Blue Devils Your Duke Blue Devils... were on a bye and probably don't deserve to be ranked tbh. Up next Florida State. If we can't beat them this time, we need to join the Ivy League and give up on sports.
15 Nebraska Cornhuskers After some rest, the gauntlet is raised against #4 Indiana. Good luck against the might Windiana threat.
16 Liberty Flames See last week as to how these idiots snuck back in. Unfortunately, poll inertia will make it such that they will be unlikely to leave without a loss. Clearly a team that needed overtime to beat FIU deserves to be ranked... Up next another non-factor in Kennesaw State.
17 Miami Hurricanes Despite everything, the model rightfully views Liberty as more fraudulent than Liberty. At least they legitimately won all their games! Up next a Louisville that will also get shafted by the refs... probably.
18 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Not sure why my model still likes them. They beat App State but lost to Tulane. Up next Coastal.
19 James Madison Dukes JMU is definitely better than Wazzu, much to my surprise. Up next a battle with Georgia Southern.
20 Washington State Cougars While the Pac-West has a herculean battle elsewhere, Wazzu hopes to have an easier time against Hawaii than Boise State.
21 Sam Houston Bearkats The model says a 31 point loss to UCF is fine, as long as you beat Texas State, apparently. Would not rank them myself. Up next WKU to see if they really deserve to be here.
22 Memphis Tigers Convincingly beats USF to climb into the polls as we realize maybe Navy is just good. Up next a battle of 1-loss teams vs the worst one, UNT.
23 Syracuse Orange Beats NCSU in less than convincing fashion to climb in. Up next #2 Pitt for a real battle, even if Pitt probably shouldn't be that high.
24 UNLV Rebels After beating Utah State in stride on a bad night, the Rebels are looking for their full rebound through a win against #13 Boise State. Should be a must watch! Unfortunately, if they win, voters will likely just shaft both programs instead...
25 LSU Tigers Yes, these guys climb back in. They are overrated, but not so much anymore. Ole Miss is a decent win. Up next Arkansas.
