Overall Rationale: This is the last week where I am putting an extreme emphasis on record. Next week, I will look at record, but I will also look at SOR, MOV, and similar metrics. But I will use this ranking as a jumping off point. The reason for not taking the rankings too seriously until 6 or 7 weeks into the season is to avoid preseason bias. I still like participating in the rankings, but my ballots up to this point have been somewhat silly. Next week it gets serious.
