Overall Rationale: This poll was seeded with the results of the r/CFB preseason poll. Teams are graded on offensive and defensive scales, based on the quality of their opponent, point total, and whether they won or lost. The two scales are combined together to produce the final ranking. Calculations are performed iteratively, so if one of your team's past opponents does very well, that will help you. At the moment, the preseason poll accounts for just 40% of the ranking value. This will diminish by 10 percentage points per week until the later stages of the season when it'll be 100% calculated. In the comments for each team, I've added where they would be ranked if no preseason influence had been included. It's definitely a worse poll, but not all that far off.
