2 Tennessee Volunteers A close second with an impressive answer to on the road against a good OU defense
3 Georgia Bulldogs Resting off a bye. This week should be interesting vs Bama
4 Alabama Crimson Tide Also coming off a bye. I am really interested to see if this game is as close as the KY game or not for GA.
5 Ohio State Buckeyes Small struggles early in the game with Marshall
6 Oregon Ducks A good team after the civil war far better than the performance in the previous games. On a bye.
7 Ole Miss Rebels I do not agree with a decent amount of the flags from the previous two games. Regardless the team needs to work out some of the flags during practice going into conference play. We haven't played anyone as I am reminded and need to really hope our secondary doesn't continue to perform as they have against the previous 4 opponents or we will be dropping quickly.
8 Miami Hurricanes Slow Start against USF. Cam Ward and the team are very well put together and I think we will see a lot more from this team.
9 Penn State Nittany Lions Handled buisness and got the shut out. They moved up two spots from last week. If their team operates as they did Saturday getting some of the earlier bugs of the season worked out in the first few games then they can go far.
10 Utah Utes I didn't think they would beat the cardiac cowboys without Cam Rising. I was incorrect and they lead for the majority of the game. Still a great team that could win the B12.
11 Louisville Cardinals I also doubted Louisville but, they played really well against a good GT team.
12 Oklahoma State Cowboys Cardiac Cowboys move up from a good performance against Utah but, mostly offset other people who have fallen (i.e K STATE)
13 Missouri Tigers The double OT was not expected. I didn't think this team would cover the spread but, I didn't think the game would be that close. I think they underestimated Vandy
14 Michigan Wolverines If Orji passed the ball more I think USC would have come away with the win. If they can continue to keep a run heavy offense which has been done often at Michigan they could continue forward progress with this team. I don't they will make the B1G championship game.
15 Washington State Cougars I am all for an offensive shootout but, holy hell. Down to the wire and 2OT?
16 Oklahoma Sooners Lost but did a great job on defense against who I had as #2 last week as I do this week. They drop a few spots.
17 USC Trojans Did not think it would go down like that in the big house. I think they have some run defense that could use a little bit of work especially for the rest of the B1G.
18 Illinois Fighting Illini Altmyer and team have been a little slept on. They out played Nebraska and down right destroyed them during OT. The future progress will be interesting.
19 LSU Tigers A little closer than it should have been for this UCLA game.
20 BYU Cougars I thought K State has looked really good even their win over Tulane. BYU really showed out on Saturday.
21 Clemson Tigers Clemson is looking really good compared to their one loss against the #3 ranked team on this current poll.
22 Boise State Broncos Boise State looks good and their 1 loss is against the team ranked #6 here.
23 Vanderbilt Commodores Vandy has had a good run but, this is more to reflect the OT loss against Mizzou and how high they have been ranked.
24 Kansas State Wildcats K-State wasn't there last weekend if another performance like that they might drop for a few other teams.
25 Buffalo Bulls Beat NIU
