1 Texas Longhorns Team appears very dominant even with Ewers out and Arch stepping up. They are very explosive on offense and defense.
2 Tennessee Volunteers The Vols look great with this combination with Nico on the offense and a stout defense. I believe this team could potentially be more powerful then Texas.
3 Alabama Crimson Tide Bama has once again taken care of business. Although a lot of us on the sub realized that they would more than likely cover they made proper corrections from any early struggles against USF.
4 Ohio State Buckeyes They didn't play but, so far they are of the top 4 teams in the B1G.
5 Georgia Bulldogs They have played a good Clemson team. They seemed to struggle on the road at Kroger Field against Kentucky where the game came down to the wire after the Gamecocks had just rolled them.
6 Oregon Ducks I had doubts about the team after a slow start to the season. A lot of the kinks seem to be worked out and D Gabriel really showed out in the civil war. I for one thought this game would not on be close but, that the ducks were going to hold an L.
7 Ole Miss Rebels So far explosive. Dart shouldn't have taken his helmet off. The refs were something in the game against WF. I will need to see us play a harder games when we enter our conference part of the schedule after some easier games. I still worry about our secondary.
8 Miami Hurricanes It is early but Miami is scary. I think they will run the ACC and honestly good for them. Although the Florida W doesn't mean as much in terms of polls this team is still very dominant and I think will face 3 games that could be an issue.
9 Penn State Nittany Lions Glimpses of an absolute unit of a team has shown through followed by some small issues. That is the reason the BG game was as close as it was. They are coming off a BYE and hopefully worked on some of the small issues. This week will be no issue for them.
10 USC Trojans USC with their first shutout in quite some time. I was very low on this team at the beginning of the year as many were. The LSU W actually carries a little more weight after they beat the Gamecocks this past weekend. I think they handle Michigan after this bye week.
11 Missouri Tigers Mizzou struggled for the first half of their game last weekend against a Boston College team that might be better than I had thought after two consecutive shutouts for the tigers.
12 Kansas State Wildcats K State looked scary. I thought Utah would run the table in the BIG 12 this year but, K State looks hungry. They took care of what looked to be a really good Arizona team.
13 Oklahoma Sooners The Sooners looked much better against a great Tulane squad that nearly beat K State the week before. This game was not as close as I thought it would be. Their defense really shined through against a really well coached team and their offense showed up compared to the previous week against Houston.
14 Washington State Cougars I am high on Wazzu and I was previously. This team looks really good and hungry in the apple bowl. I could see them going 10-2 with a few trap games in their schedule.
15 Oklahoma State Cowboys Cardiac cowboys destroy a not great Tulsa; next week will be interesting as another test against a potentially no Cam Rising Utah.
16 Louisville Cardinals Louisville looks like a good team and coming off a BYE I think they have what it takes to take down GT. This will be their first big game.
17 Clemson Tigers Clemson lost some stock with me after the close Georgia Kentucky game. I think we have to see what happens with the NC State game.
18 Utah Utes The backup for Cam seems to be doing well. The Cardiac Cowboys will give them a good test if Cam isn't back in. Either way I do think this game will be close and could result in one of the teams dropping a few spots.
19 Nebraska Cornhuskers Nebraska has played well. They got revenge on Colorado and have appeared to really be clicking. This weeks matchup could be tough for the Cornhuskers but I think they beat out Altmeyer and team.
20 LSU Tigers Things seem to be coming together better for the their team. They beat a really good SC team this past weekend. The SC win carries more weight then the Nicholls game issues.
21 Illinois Fighting Illini I like this Illinois team. Their next two weeks are going to be rough against a good Nebraska team and a good Penn State team. There has been really good plays and I think this Nebraska game could be very interesting.
22 Iowa State Cyclones Coming off a BYE. I think they play this Arkansas State team slightly better than Michigan in the start of the game. It will still end as a close game.
23 Michigan Wolverines They appeared to struggle against Arkansas State for a while and Warren did look better then against Texas. I do not think they win this USC game.
24 Memphis Tigers Memphis looks like a great team. There were some things that needed to be cleaned up this past weekend but, I think they should be in contention for the G5 autobid. (HATE: thinking about that now)
25 Northern Illinois Huskies They didn't play but, ND did and dropped a 60 burg on Purdue. It doesn't do anything for me on ND but drives up the NI stock some for me.
