yesiambear Ballot for 2024 Week 4

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 15, 2024, 5:07 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Georgia Bulldogs Survived a scare, but Georgia seems to do that every season. They still deserve the respect.
Texas Longhorns There is an argument to be made that Texas should be #1 right now.
Alabama Crimson Tide Now a quality win. This helps the resume, three is perfect.
Ole Miss Rebels Ole Miss hasn't beat anyone of quality yet, but they are showing you that they are prepared.
Tennessee Volunteers Same argument as Ole Miss, but NC State was near quality. Ole Miss has Tennessee's number the past few years, and I'd argue Ole Miss is a higher quality program than Tennessee....but it won't be for long.
Ohio State Buckeyes This team feels more fragile than Ole Miss, but it's very early. Call this an unfortunate punishment because of a bye.
Penn State Nittany Lions
Oregon Ducks If you want to be in the top 10 and start moving up, you win games like that, like that.
Missouri Tigers If you want to be in the top 10, you have to win games like that.
USC Trojans
Miami Hurricanes I disrespected Miami last week with my ranking. My bad. This team is goooood.
Utah Utes That's cutting is close....Utah lacks a win that makes you feel good about them long-term.
Oklahoma Sooners That's a tiny bit of redemption after the Houston close call.
Nebraska Cornhuskers This just feels right.
Oklahoma State Cowboys Nice win, with style. Makes the Arkansas win look better.
Michigan Wolverines That's not a reassuring win. There is a QB problem in Ann Arbor.
LSU Tigers Nice win. A tiny comeback, but that's a quality win for LUS.
Kansas State Wildcats Survived @Tulane 34-27.
Iowa State Cyclones Beat @IOWA!!! 20-19
Clemson Tigers
Illinois Fighting Illini You would have liked Illinois to win a bit more after beating Kansas the week prior. Still, a W is a W.
Washington State Cougars Also beat Texas Tech 37-16. Both wins were at home (it's hard in Pullman). Boise in two weeks will be key
Washington Huskies That's a bad loss. At home, to your rival.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish That's great, but it still doesn't soften the blow of losing to NIU. This team still might sneak in the playoffs if it goes undefeated.
Memphis Tigers Beat Troy 38-17,
