Overall Rationale: Tried to rate team over quality of schedule / wins, margin of victory, and comparative opponents. Wonky in early weeks, but settles down. Rewards poor wins over good teams, over big wins over poor teams.

1 Texas Longhorns Decimated UTSA. Dominated Michigan.
2 Miami Hurricanes Miami looks insane. Don't tell Missippi St that P4 teams can beat MAC teams. Florida win is not aging way.
3 USC Trojans BYE. Temporary fall.
4 Georgia Bulldogs WIN over Kentucky. Barely. And Kentuck doesn look good. Georgia's resume is overrated. On upset alert again Alabama next week.
5 Arizona State Sun Devils WIN over Texas State. Close win, but Texas State was expected to be the G5 representative in playoff. Plus Kinnie and TxSt are legit.
6 Tennessee Volunteers 71 on a g5 team. Over 50 at half. Looked as easy against a MAC team as they did over an ACC team. Unbelievable.
7 Alabama Crimson Tide Blew the doors out of Wisconsin. Wasn't high on Wisconsin, but probably underrated Alabama with the coaching change.
8 Oregon Ducks Stomped allover Oregon State. Classic oregon team. Wild, fast, and unreliable.
9 Ole Miss Rebels Okay, so Wake Forest is a P5 OOC, and Ole Miss looked unstopable. BUT, Wake isn't much. Believer in Kiffin, but not impressed by the schedule.
10 Washington State Cougars Hard to judge how impressed we should be by the Washington win. But they have wins over Washington and Tech, and really should run the table from here.
11 Kansas State Wildcats Decimated Arizona as an OOC game.
12 Penn State Nittany Lions BYE. I don't like dropping teams on a bye week, but their WVU win is aging poorly.
13 Nebraska Cornhuskers Beat a measily FCS team (Northern Iowa), but in an uninspiring way.
14 Utah Utes Survived a tough game against *checks notes* Utah State. Yeah. no. This is a gritty team, but the offensive really struggles.
15 Ohio State Buckeyes BYE. Up by default.
16 Oklahoma State Cowboys Stomped a premiere G5 AAC team; game was not as close as the 45 to 10 score indicates.
17 UNLV Rebels Not to brag, but I had them ranked first! Beat Kansas by a field goal, but felt like they were overplaying (which they can't consistently do).. Has a very real chance of running the table.
18 Pittsburgh Panthers Beat WVU ooc.
19 California Golden Bears Fun sickos game. Honestly, felt like SDSU lost this game i the 2nd quarter, and then never caught up. SDSU had a pick 6 called back, a fake punt later squandered, etc. Cal is winning, but Cal is not good.
20 North Carolina Tar Heels Beat an FCS team... and was up 17-10 at the half. Yikes. Fourth quarter redeemed them, but that was ugly.
21 Oklahoma Sooners Beat a mediocre Tulane team. Keep winning.
22 Illinois Fighting Illini Kansas win is not aging well. But they are 3-0 with an OOC win over a (then) ranked P5 team.
23 Northern Illinois Huskies BYE. The Notre Dame win looks better after Notre Dame blew the doors off Purdue.
24 Indiana Hoosiers Indiana beat UCLA. UCLA is in a terrible shape -- but still an impressive dub. 3-0 Indiana. Halfway to a bowl game!
25 Iowa State Cyclones BYE
