FlashSpider-man Ballot for 2023 Week 10

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 29, 2023, 11:07 a.m.

Overall Rationale: My opinion, mostly. Bias: I go to Tamu and grew up an ASU fan. I try to base off results, not preconceived talent, though I can fall for it. Trying to put a weight on wins, though it can be hard in some cases. And I don't know g5, so I am only gonna put them of they make something the week before. I may be weird with them. Feel free to @ me on reddit, I'd love to talk about it.

Rank Team Reason
Michigan Wolverines
Ohio State Buckeyes
Georgia Bulldogs
Florida State Seminoles
Washington Huskies They've struggled recently, but remain undefeated. All 5 undefeated p5 teams here.
Oregon Ducks Honestly, they've been playing better than UW recently. But they lost earlier.
Oklahoma Sooners At least Kansas is playing good this year. Losing to KU when they are bad is so much more embarrassing. Despite the loss to a good KU team, their win over tu keeps them up.
Texas Longhorns
Alabama Crimson Tide
Penn State Nittany Lions
Ole Miss Rebels
Louisville Cardinals What a win. Second good win of the season. Jumps ND cause they beat them earlier and it doesn't look as flukes as before.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
LSU Tigers
Missouri Tigers
Air Force Falcons
James Madison Dukes
Liberty Flames All 8 undefeated teams make it. All in my top 20. Do these last 2 deserve to be above some of the next few teams. Maybe not but I'm really unsure.
Kansas State Wildcats Dominated Houston. They've only had 2 games ending within one possession, their 2 losses. They look really good. This is the beginning of a 5 team clump where I don't think order matters much. They are all in the same range and I've debated how to rank them.
Oregon State Beavers 3 Pac 12 teams I don't know how to rank. There is a big clump of 2 loss teams I'm not sure where to put. I'm putting them here cause it's been a tough schedule for them all. I still think they are all good teams and deserve to be here.
Utah Utes Pac 12 cannibalism is so confusing. How should I rank these teams? Are any of them good?
UCLA Bruins
Kansas Jayhawks Big upset. Well played. Despite a better win, I don't think they've looked as good as KSU overall.
Tulane Green Wave One loss. Think they've been pretty good? Idk.
Tennessee Volunteers UK is now their best win of the season. They haven't beaten anyone else good. But one good win will be enough for me to put them, I guess. This was close between them, OSU, and UNC. OSU has definitely been playing better recently, and have beaten both Kansas teams, but the early stink isn't fully gone, amd they'll miss it this week. Personally, I have them at 26. UNC really hasn't played anyone. And don't say a team with only one regulation win against a p5 team counts as somebody (Miami). After these 2 losses, I don't think they deserve to be ranked. I know how high I had UNC last week. I took a look at it and honestly I don't think their resume is better than UT, even with how low I am on UT. Kentucky is just barely a better win than Miami imo. And UT's losses are muuuch better. USC continues to struggle, barely besting Cal. I'd consider Fresno State but idk g5. Also, not og considering any 3 loss teams.
