Ohio State vs Clemson for the 4 spot was slightly difficult. OSU wins the eye-test mostly, and is bolstered by other teams lacking resume rather than OSU's own excellent resume. |

Dangerous team who got moderately unlucky against Oregon, but still rewarded by a Rose bowl berth. This team is PROBABLY the best in the PAC. |

Better W/L record than Utah, but lost to them twice, so Utah gets the 8 spot ahead of them. |

Penn State Nittany Lions
|
PSU may be really really good. Only two losses were to juggernaut B1G teams. Excited for the Rose bowl for them. |

Mid season stumbles, but finished the season strong. Probably the second best team in the PAC, i might be biased against USC but if they had played in the regular season, i would assume UW wins. |

Disappointing finish to the season. A close loss to UW, but a complete meltdown against Oregon State. This team is probably better than 14th according to eye-test, but the resume disagrees. |

Several of the losses were competitive, including the Oregon one. This team is pretty good, had bad luck a few times throughout the season. |

This is the team im most unsure about the placement. Theres a very very good chance they deserve to be higher, in which case i apologize. |

Admittedly only watched some highlights of some of their games this season; relying on friends who have watched their games to assume they deserve this spot. |

|
I was never high on LSU even after the Bama win, partly because Bama isnt quite the juggernaut this year and i feel were propped up a bit by name. LSU is still a very decent team; their highs are higher than most teams highs, they just dont always play at that level. |
