Overall Rationale: The top 5 is clear. 6-12 is a jumble. For me, Tennessee has two clear "Tier 1" type wins with LSU and Alabama. Similarly, Tennessee remains ahead of LSU and Alabama due to the head-to-head wins. Neither LSU nor Alabama has a strong enough resume at this juncture to leap-frog Tennessee. Alabama won't have that chance, but LSU will with the SEC title game against Georgia. Basically, the big quality wins still give Tennessee an edge on their resume when looking at a blind comparison.
