w8w8 Ballot for 2022 Week 13

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Nov. 20, 2022, 12:55 a.m.

Rank Team Reason
Georgia Bulldogs Still no question here.
Ohio State Buckeyes Still no question here.
USC Trojans USC's win over UCLA was more impressive than Michigan's win over Illinois, hence why USC is #3 and Michigan is #4 in my ranking. BEWARE NOTRE DAME.
Michigan Wolverines Michigan is still a powerhouse but that was a close one.
LSU Tigers LSU is right up to the glass as they stand outside looking in. How they got here is honestly kind of crazy, but they kick butt when they need to.
Clemson Tigers Interchangeable with LSU's ranking but I feel like Clemson is more shaky.
TCU Horned Frogs Even though Baylor tried spoiling TCU with a win, TCU was still impressive... at the last minute. The other 59 minutes and 45 seconds of the game was a spoiler in itself, which is why TCU drops. How far they dropped was somewhat dependent on the result of Utah/Oregon and also USC/UCLA.
Oregon Ducks
Tennessee Volunteers
Alabama Crimson Tide Feels obligatory.
Penn State Nittany Lions It's a shame Penn State couldn't upset Michigan/tOSU— it would have made them look like an even more impressive team than they already are.
Utah Utes
Tulane Green Wave I admittedly don't know much about them, but good job!
Notre Dame Fighting Irish USC will be big for them next week. Maybe not playoff-worthy big, but still big. They need to make people really forget about Marshall.
Washington Huskies
North Carolina Tar Heels
Kansas State Wildcats They'll probably go to the CCG. Probably.
Oregon State Beavers
UCLA Bruins
Ole Miss Rebels Perhaps the Rebels can Rebound next week, but a tough loss comes with tough consequences.
Illinois Fighting Illini
Texas Longhorns Beware of the Bears.
Mississippi State Bulldogs
Cincinnati Bearcats
Baylor Bears There has only been one instance since 2008 when a losing team has re-entered the rankings (Texas in 2022 after Bama). Will Baylor be ranked by the committee? Almost certainly not— but this isn't the committee and Baylor deserves to be in. Sure, they've been volatile, but so has 90% of the other ranked teams if we're being honest.
