Overall Rationale: I think it's important to remember that the way this poll works is that the bowl season, to include the national championship does not dictate the results exclusively. They are only additional data points to consider and as a result may create disagreeance with the CFP competitors or the AP poll. Whether or not you win or lost matters more than the name on the game and the poll is holistic and considers the whole season's worth of results and data.
