I'm trying to make my poll like the CFP committee supposedly aims to (I know they won't truly live up to ignoring name bias, etc.) |

The top two are clear but after that it is a little muddier. |

Even with their first mediocre performance against a strong opponent, Cincinnati still has the best resume up to this point. |

Northwestern just has a lot of good wins compared to say, Ohio State. I don't necessarily think they'd beat BYU or Ohio State but what they've done has earned the 4 spot. |

They are so dominant, but the schedule definitely sucks. |

The reason Ohio State is 6th out of the top tier is very simple: they have played one good opponent and underperformed. While Indiana is certainly good, to me it appeared Ohio State was playing down to the center of the poll rather than vice versa. |
